C-Arm Surgical X-Ray Parts and Service Business Expansion

In August of 2021, we proudly announced our acquisition of Omni Imaging Service (Omni), a well-respected privately held Louisiana-based OEC C-Arm parts and services company. The Omni purchase marks our second expansion of 2021, after our merger with Nighingale-Alan Medical Equipment Services in March.

Post-Acquisition Structure

Combining the talents of employees from both companies, the merged entity is based at the TBS facility in Franklin, OH. The service portion of Omni, now referred to as TBS dba Omni Imaging Service will continue to operate out of the local office in Mandeville, Louisiana with the same staff as before, now serving as the hub of our C-Arm services.

“We’ve partnered with Omni throughout the years because C-Arms are such an important part of our equipment and services offering. By bringing Omni into the TBS family, we strengthen our foundation and increase our ability to provide top-quality services across the country.” ~ TBS founder, owner, and president, Tyler Thornberry

Omni founders and former owners Mark and Sandra Ardoin will retire after a transition period, with Mark staying on throughout 2021 to ensure a smooth handover of the business.

“Our commitment and hard work to ensure customer satisfaction has been paramount from the day Sandra and I founded Omni Imaging Service, L.L.C. in 2004. We’ve been blessed to develop great customer relationships across the United States. Delighting our customers is woven into our culture, and we recognize that same dedication to customer interfacing support and processes at TBS.” ~ Omni founder and former Omni owner, Mark Ardoin

Continuing the Reputation and Legacy of C-Arm Service Excellence

The acquisition reflects our level of commitment to and growing demand for C-Arms and related services. It has always been a big part of our business and now we have an even stronger structure to expand that work.

“This purchase recognizes the goodwill that Mark, Sandra, and Omni team have created, and we’re honored to have a role to play in carrying the company on to its full future potential.” ~ Aaron Neace, TBS Business Manager
