Pulse Oximetry

Pulse oximetry is a test that measures blood oxygen levels, called oxygen saturation. It uses a small, painless, and noninvasive device that clips on a finger or toe to take the reading. These devices are more commonly known now that people have used them at home when sick or recovering from COVID-19. They are used throughout the medical care industry, especially in the hospital for people with lung and heart issues or other conditions that affect levels of oxygen in the blood.
